Of the many ways of teaching and learning methods, fieldwork or field visits are one of the most effective modes of learning. Don Bosco Tech has adapted to this method to impart education to its trainees. On August 2, 2019, Sewing Machine Operator (SMO) trainees had been to visit Mohini Boutique located at Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh where they got the opportunity to explore the ways to stitch a dress.

As these trainees walked in they were helped to understand how to take measurements, mark them on the cloths, and then cut them to stitch Salwar Kamiz. This was shown by one of the tailors working for the boutique.

This visit gave insights into becoming an entrepreneur someday. The young trainees, full of energy and enthusiasm are studying hard to get a stable job, listened patiently, and leaned a lot. They thanked the staff for sparing the time to brief, to help to measure, to cut, and to stitch. These trainees were very happy indeed.
